How Does Google Handle The Nofollow?

Good question. I assumed that Google just ignored the link, but apparently thats not the case. Google(and Yahoo) both follow the Nofollow, but don't allow any of the link juice to flow so no PR is passed. They will also use Nofollows to find and index new content.
